This assignment requires you to install some basic tools and libarires on your computer. Fortunately, these are well documented and heavily used tools with lots of support. First download the pre-requisite instructions (pdf link above or here) and the assignment files (zip link above or here)
The PDF contains instructions for how to install the tools needed and the .zip file contains all the other files you need to complete the assignment. Once you’ve finished installing the tools, unzip the files into your working folder, then start jupyter in this folder and open the .ipynb file.
The rest of the instructions for the assignment can be found in the jupyter notebook that should have just opened. Either edit this notebook as directed and submit your answers as an exported PDF of the notebook (this can be done using the menus at the top of the screen) or submit a separate document with your answers.
Late Policy
- Late assignments will be penalized at 20% per day
- Assignments submitted after five days will still be evaluated if you would like feedback, although the final grade will still be zero.
- Late submissions without penalty will be considered only if the appropriate channels (doctor’s note, student declaration of absence) are used.
